Project Management Mode and Efficiency Analysis of Intelligent Road and Bridge Maintenance System Based on BIM+GIS
Abstract
decision-making, and disconnection across the lifecycle—a smart maintenance system based on Building Information Modeling (BIM) and
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) has become a key approach to enhancing management efficiency. This model integrates BIM’s component-level data integration capabilities with GIS’s spatial analysis strengths, establishing a unified platform that combines data integration,
visualization, intelligent task assignment, and dynamic monitoring. Within this framework, the system enables intelligent generation of maintenance tasks and collaborative operations, while using sensor networks and closed-loop feedback mechanisms to conduct real-time evaluation and optimization of maintenance outcomes. Its performance manifests across multiple dimensions: multi-source data analytics drive
scientific decision-making and refined management; intelligent scheduling algorithms optimize resource allocation and enable whole-life-cycle cost control; real-time monitoring and automated dispatching significantly improve emergency response speed and public service quality.
This intelligent management model offers a systematic solution for digital transformation in road and bridge maintenance, holding significant
practical value for ensuring infrastructure safety and durability.
